Technique - Sit in padmasana raise the palm on the floor beside the hips,Slowly raise the palm on the floor beside the hips ,Slowly raise the tomgue ,Without a jerk.The body should not quiver Retain the breathe is tne lungs as long as the body is in the raised position Exhale when the Body is lowered down.
Caution - Practice according to capacity. In the beginning take help of hands to raise the legs.While raising do not bend legs at the knees.People suffering from lumbar spondilitis and muscle pull should not practice it.People having back injury or having undergone any form of abdominal surgery, should refrain from doing this asana with both legs. Repeat three times with each leg for every 10 - 15 sec.
