Paschimottasana: This asana increases the height , increase memory power ,and flexible backbone .excessive fat around the abdomen is reduced by practicing the asana ,it tones up the kidney ,the stomach and other abdominal organ.
Technique: Sit on the floor with legs stretched straight in front, bend the trunk forward and hold the feet with the thumbs and the first and middle fingers.
(a) keep spine as straight as possible.
(b) avoid forcing down head .
(c) knee straight.
(d) try to holds toes.
(e)arms along side ears.
(f) Inhale stretch up being with 20 secs (normal breathing) and gradually increase it to 40 secs
